Macau Sauna Theme Rooms, Majesty's Egyptian Room: The Sunday Afternoon After Halloween, With Nothing Left for You to Do
Majesty Spa's Egyptian theme room: walls painted with ancient Egyptian figures, a gold column and a gold-and-black striped bed. The day after Halloween, 1 November, is a Sunday, and the therapist's hour takes place one to one in this room. Open 24 hours, therapists on duty 14:00 to 06:00. Booking via this site includes a free private car, free consultation and 1 free add-on service chosen on site.
Halloween falls on Saturday 31 October this year. If you are staying in Macau that weekend and want a Sunday afternoon where you do not have to lift a finger, Majesty Spa’s Egyptian theme room suits it: the whole room is already dressed, its walls painted with ancient Egyptian figures and rows of hieroglyphs, and all you do is lie down. It is one of more than ten theme rooms in the venue. Majesty Spa is on the 1st floor of the Harbourview Hotel at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf.
The line-up in the lounge
At Majesty, the therapists on duty stand in a line in the main lounge, which the venue calls its line-up. You let the manager know the series you have in mind, and the manager introduces the multinational therapists to you. You see them up close, and when one of them is your choice, you let the manager know.
The Egyptian room
Besides the painted wall, the room has a gold column, a bed base and headboard in gold-and-black stripes, a gold quilted top across the whole bed, a black cat statue sitting beside it and a pink floor.
The hour in the Egyptian room belongs to you and your therapist alone. Among the painted walls, all you do is lie back and leave the rest to her; if there is something you would like, one word is enough and she will follow it. The rest of the hour is yours to discover in the Egyptian room, and guests who have tried it say it is worth it.
An afternoon on the recliner
After the hour, you can rest on a recliner in the lobby rest area. Booking through this site adds 1 add-on service free of charge, done on the recliner by another masseuse. There are eight to choose from, and you pick yours once you are lying down. If you get drowsy, the recliner is the place for a nap.
Ask for the Egyptian room when you book
Say “the Egyptian room” when you book, and we will first check with the venue whether the room is free that day. Majesty Spa is open 24 hours. Therapist hours differ from opening hours: therapists are on duty daily from 14:00 to 06:00 the next morning, so any time on Sunday afternoon after 14:00 works. As of October 2026, Majesty Spa’s prices run from MOP 1,299 to 6,699. The service charge and tax are part of that figure, so what you see listed is what you pay. Each series is on the price page. You can ask about the details of each option when you book. Prices follow the actual menu and may vary by option, duration and time of day, with the current menu confirmed when you book.
Is the Egyptian room a waterbed or a dry bed?
A dry bed. Majesty has no waterbeds, so the hour in every theme room is on a dry bed. To see what the other theme rooms look like, visit the theme rooms page.
